Web Developer
The web developer is responsible for taking an approved design comp, coding it into a functioning website and later filling that website with the appropriate content and imagery. The end product should be a well-organized, well thought out website that is easy to use, loads quickly, is compatible across all major browsers, and is formatted in a way to best accomplish the marketing goals of the practice/organization.
Responsibilities:
Structure Phase
* Turn a design comp (Adobe PSD) into a working Wordpress theme using our existing Wordpress framework, HTML, CSS and PHP.
* Ensure coded design matches the approved design comp.
* Ensure structured site works on all browsers
Content Phase
* Build a fully-functioning website based upon a project packet which will include a sitemap, description of content to be placed on each page, a content library, image library and client-supplied content.
* Style content appropriately to match the approved design comp. and highlight pertinent information within the content.
* Implement additional features client has purchased like procedure animations, photo galleries, video galleries, etc.
* Place appropriate imagery on content pages using our stock photo library or client-supplied images
* Setup multiple menu systems using Wordpress
* Customize and code sidebars appropriate to the various sections of the website
* Perform quality control on completed site to ensure all functionality is work across all browsers, check for broken links, etc.
Requirements:
* Advanced knowledge in HTML, CSS and Wordpress
* Basic-Intermediate knowledge in PHP and Adobe Development tools
* Intermediate knowledge in User Experience/User Interface design
* Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
* Healthcare website experience a plus
